if you’re jumping into Google AdSense, there are definitely some things to not mess up. Like, first off — don’t ever click on your own ads. Google’s like a hawk with that stuff. They’ll catch you and just straight-up ban your account.

Also, don’t ask your friends to click either. It might feel harmless, but Google sees that as fake traffic and they’re super strict about it.

Another biggie — don’t just copy-paste content from other sites. You’ve gotta have original stuff. Google wants real value, not rehashed junk.

And please, don’t turn your blog into an ad circus. Too many ads just scare people away. Keep it clean and user-friendly, especially on mobile.

Basically, focus on good content, play by the rules, and be patient. That’s the real way to make AdSense work for you.

Don’t click on your own ads or ask friends to click them. Google can easily detect this and it can get your account banned quickly. Also avoid using fake traffic or bots to increase your website visits because AdSense only allows real, organic users.

Be careful where you place ads on your site. If ads are placed in a way that tricks people into clicking them by mistake, Google treats it as invalid activity. Your content also matters a lot—don’t use copied, low-quality, or spammy content because AdSense usually rejects or limits such sites.

Make sure your website follows all content rules. Avoid anything illegal, adult, or misleading. Another common mistake is putting too many ads on a single page, which makes the site look messy and can reduce user trust.

Finally, don’t ignore AdSense policy updates. Rules change over time, and staying updated helps you avoid sudden warnings or suspension.

When using Google AdSense, there are a few mistakes you should definitely avoid if you don’t want to get banned or mess up your earnings:

      1. Clicking your own ads – Sounds obvious, but seriously, don’t do it. Google knows.

      2. Telling others to click your ads – Nope, that’s also a big no. Even asking friends or family can get you in trouble.

      3. Using copyrighted content – If you’re just copying stuff from other websites or YouTube, you’re risking your AdSense account.

      4. Overloading your blog with ads – If your blog looks like a jungle of ads, people bounce fast. Plus, Google prefers quality over clutter.

      5. Ignoring mobile-friendliness – If your site sucks on mobile, you’re losing traffic and ad revenue.

      6. Publishing thin or low-quality content – You need real, helpful content. Not 300-word filler posts just to show ads.

      7. Breaking Google’s rules (even by accident) – Always stay updated with their policies. They can be strict, and ignorance doesn’t help.

      8. Not checking your analytics – You might be missing out on better placements or better-performing pages if you’re not watching your data.

Bottom line: play fair, focus on good content, and don’t try to game the system. Google rewards the long game.
