Slashing with SAUCE is a penalty mechanism that reduces your earnings if you become inactive. Slashing occurs if you hold more than 20,000 SAUCE tokens and fail to extend your mining session or exhaust all your days off. The purpose of slashing is to encourage active participation in the Sauces ecosystem and to ensure that only engaged users are rewarded.
