That said, other things can cause freezing tooβlike not enough RAM, overheating, outdated drivers, or even malware. Try running a disk check (Windows has a built-in one called CHKDSK), keeping an eye on your computer’s temperature, and making sure everything is up to date. If the problem keeps happening, backing up your important files ASAP and considering a new hard drive might be a good idea.
