Some parts of London look modern because they attract major investment from businesses, wealthy residents, and the government. Areas connected to finance, tourism, and technology often get new skyscrapers, luxury apartments, better roads, and upgraded public spaces.

Other parts appear neglected because they were historically working-class or industrial areas that lost jobs and funding over time. When factories and docks closed, many neighborhoods faced unemployment, lower property values, and slower development.

London is also an extremely old city, so different areas were built in different time periods. Some neighborhoods preserve historic architecture, while others are constantly redeveloped. This creates a strong contrast between modern districts and older, less-developed communities.

Okay sooo, visual arts in high school are like all the cool stuff you can see and make with your hands and imagination. It’s not like boring math or whatever. You get to draw, paint, make stuff with clay, sometimes even do photography or digital art if your school has that.

Basically, anything where you’re creating pictures or designs or things people can look at and be like β€œwoah that’s cool” β€” that’s visual arts. It’s fun β€˜cause you don’t have to write essays all the time, you just need to be creative and not be afraid to mess up sometimes.

And yeah, you might learn about famous artists too, like Picasso or Van Gogh β€” but mostly it’s about expressing yourself and having fun with colors and shapes and all that.
