The I4C, under the CyberDost initiative, will continue to spread awareness about cyber crimes, coordinate joint efforts between stakeholders, and assist in creating a national cyber crime data registry.
The national register of suspects will help prevent cyber crimes by identifying and monitoring individuals involved in cyber fraud and related activities. It aims to provide law enforcement with critical information to act preemptively.
The CFMC aims to enable coordinated and immediate actions against online financial crimes by working together with various agencies. It promotes the idea of cooperative federalism, ensuring a unified response to cyber threats.
The CFMC is a new entity created to tackle online financial crimes. It will involve representatives from banks, financial intermediaries, payment aggregators, telecom service providers, IT intermediaries, and law enforcement agencies from across states and union territories.
Details regarding the registration process for the 5,000 cyber commandos have not been officially released yet. Once the registration portal is open, it will be announced publicly, likely through a dedicated national portal.
