KYC (Know Your Customer) is a procedure to verify Pioneer identities to ensure that all members are real individuals, maintaining network integrity and fairness.

Combines machine automation and human verification to ensure privacy and accuracy. Personal data is redacted, and human Validators from the same country verify information. Validators are trained and their work is cross validated to maintain accuracy.

Pioneers can apply for KYC via the Pi Browser. Tentative KYC approval requires additional verification before full approval. Full KYC approval is needed for Mainnet migration.
