The process is pretty simple β you upload your ID (passport, driverβs license, whatever), take a quick selfie for face verification, and then wait. Usually, it takes like 15 minutes to a couple of hours, sometimes up to a day if they need to check manually.
If you wanna skip it, you can use Bybit with limited features β like smaller withdrawal limits (like 20,000 USDT a day max), and no access to some special promos or services. But honestly, avoiding KYC isnβt worth it if you plan to be serious with trading there.
So yeah, best bet is to just get it done, itβs quick and opens up all the good stuff.

Once you’re in, you gotta deposit some crypto. Just go to βAssets,β hit βDeposit,β pick Bitcoin or whatever, and send it from your wallet. Boom, funds in.
Now, to trade Bitcoin β you’ve got two main options:
Spot trading (you’re just buying/selling actual Bitcoin), or
Derivatives trading (youβre trading contracts, kinda like betting on price movements β but with leverage if youβre into that risk).
For spot trading (which is easiest to start with):
Go to Trade > Spot.
Pick BTC/USDT (thatβs Bitcoin vs. Tether).
Choose your order type:
Market = buy/sell instantly at the current price.
Limit = set your own price and wait for it to hit.
Hit buy or sell. Done.
After that, you can check your open trades in the βOrdersβ tab.
One tip: always start small till you get the hang of it. And maybe set a stop-loss so you donβt wake up broke π
