The CyberDost initiative is an awareness campaign launched by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) to educate people about cyber threats and promote safe practices on social media and other digital platforms.
While technology improves human life, it also introduces new threats. Amit Shah stressed that the increasing use of technology has made cyber security a critical component of national security.
Amit Shah emphasized that national security is impossible without cyber security, as cyber crime knows no boundaries. He highlighted that cyber security is now integral to national development and safety.
Joint cyber coordination teams have been established in regions such as Mewat, Jamtara, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Visakhapatnam, and Guwahati to combat cyber crimes effectively.
The I4C, under the CyberDost initiative, will continue to spread awareness about cyber crimes, coordinate joint efforts between stakeholders, and assist in creating a national cyber crime data registry.
